Accessibility

PPTS is committed to the principles of independence, dignity, integration and equality of opportunity and to meeting the needs of people with disabilities.

Our website follows the accessibility guidelines of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, other than providing captions on live videos or audio descriptions for pre-recorded videos.

WCAG 2.0 is an internationally accepted standard for web accessibility, which sets out guidelines for organizations to follow to make their websites more accessible for people with disabilities. The guidelines cover things like writing web content in clear language, providing alternate text for images and making sure someone can navigate our website with just a keyboard*. Following these guidelines helps to make our site accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities.

Text size
Text size can be increased using the ‘Change Text Size’ buttons, at the top of the page. If additional increases are needed, please use the ‘zoom’ controls in your browser to increase the size of the entire page.

At the top of every page there are links to skip to the main content. This feature allows you to skip over the repeated content at the beginning of each page (such as the heading and navigation) and go straight to the main page content. To see these links, press ‘Tab’ at the top of each new page.

This is especially useful to those with screen readers because it gives the user a way to avoid listening through lengthy menus every time, they enter a new page.

PPTS is committed to further improvements to the accessibility of our site. If you have any suggestions or concerns about the accessibility of this site, please let us know by contacting:
